Coffee good for skin?

It helps your skin with:
  • Your skin be free of different radicals that can cause acne, eczema and other skin diseases
  • Break up fatty deposits which cause those ugly cellulite
  • Clear up your skin of acne and other blemishes
  • Act as sunblock and prevent sunburn and wrinkles
That's why I use facial scrubs made from coffee and masks
Here are some I have tried

You will need
  • 4 tablespoons very finely ground coffee
  • 4 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 8 tablespoons whole milk or cream
  • 2 tablespoons molasses(or honey but molasses is more gentle)NOT NECESSARY
Mix together the ground coffee and cocoa powder. Add the milk and stir to achieve a pudding like texture.
Wash it off after 15 minutes :)

Cocoa powder softens the skin and has antioxidant properties.

Get rid of BLACKHEADS pt. 2

I already wrote about why you can get blackheads so I'm not going to repeat myself.I will just post some remedies you can use and how to prevent having ones:

  • Keep your skin clean
  • Avoid picking and squeezing your skin
  • Avoid oil based cosmetics
  • Avoid heavy make up
  • Avoid coming in contact with dust
So here are some remedies I have tryed recently

  • Mix almond powder or oatmeal with rose water and make a soft paste. Gently rub it on your face, leave it for 10 to 15 minutes and rinse off with cold water.
  • Warm little honey, apply it on the blackheads and wash off after 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Apply undiluted lemon juice 2 to 3 times a day.
And Mail me on

Get rid of dry hair :)

Many people have dry hair and they usually don't know what causes that..There are many reasons but here are some main ones:
  • Harsh shampoo
  • Shampooing too often
  • Hair dye
  • Hair perms
  • Chlorine in swimming pools and hot tubs
  • Overuse of the blow dryer or curling iron
  • Too much exposure to sun and wind
  • High mineral content in local water supplies
I suffer with dry hair to so I use this home remedies :
Egg Shampoo: Separate the white of an egg from the yolk, and whip the white thoroughly. Then add 1 tablespoon of water to the yolk and blend until the mixture is creamy. Next, mix the white and yolk together. Wet your hair with warm water, remove the excess moisture, and apply the egg mixture to your scalp with your fingertips. Massage gently until the mask/shampoo is worked into your scalp, and then rinse the hair with cool water. Keep applying the mixture until it is used up.Wash it out really good.

Mayo mask: Heat up one half cup of mayonnaise until it becomes an oily, white goo and apply to dry, unwashed hair. Cover your hair with a plastic bag and leave on for at least 15 minutes. Then, rinse and shampoo thoroughly.

Banana mask: Mash one over-ripe banana (the blacker, the better) with a mushy, rotten avocado. Massage this  into your hair and leave on for at least 15 minutes before washing out...

Chocolate good for skin?

People usually think that chocolate is bad for your skin but its actually not.No, it's the sugar in chocolate that is bad for you. Dark chocolate actually contains antioxidants that are good for your skin because they neutralize the free radicals that speed the aging process.
So here is a recipe for a good skin mask that will help your skin :)
You will need:
 -1 cup of milk
 -3 tbsp of salt
-1/3 of dark chocolate(has to be dark because of the sugar)
You melt everything together wait till it has cooled down and put it on your face..
You leave it on until it gets hard and then wash it off.

Oatmeal and Yogurt mask

I already wrote about why yogurt is good for skin but I haven't why oatmeal is.So here is why
1. Dryness fighting: Oats contain polysaccharides, which become gelatinous in water and
leave a fine protective film on the skin, preventing dull, flake-y dryness.
2. Pore cleansing: Oats are filled with natural cleansers (called saponins) that gently remove
dirt and oil from the pores.
3. Defense building: The proteins in oatmeal help maintain the skin's natural barrier function,
which is what ensures that the world outside the skin stays out, and what's inside the skin stays in.
4.And it also moisturizes your skin.....

So to make this mask you will need:
 -1 tbsp of oatmeal
 -1 tbsp of yogurt
 -a few drops of honey

And all you need to do is mix the yogurt and oatmeal then add warm honey.
You leave it on your face for ten minutes then wash it off
